Coaches

Mandate

To oversee the development, communication and implementation of NCCP programs in the province of Manitoba and to provide developmental support to instructors not covered in style-specific instructor training.

Official NCCP certification training for all current levels is offered, please see the calendar for workshops dates.

What Is The NCCP?

NCCP is the National coaching Certification Program used to help coaches do the best job they can in coaching students in their specific discipline.

NCCP has three courses for karate coaches/instructors that provide insight in teaching and assisting the learning of students. Karate Manitoba offers continued ongoing training seminars and certification for members who are interested in obtaining their certification.

Who Can Participate?

Whether you are a dojo head, instructor, athlete, student, these workshops are open to all. Seminars will help you understand the WKF rules that have come into effect in 2012 with the Manitoba Provincial Tournament.

The WKF (World Karate Federation) International rules of competition are applied at the Pan American and World Games, as well as Continental and WKF championships, and will be applied should Karate become an Olympic event. As a member of Karate Canada, Karate Manitoba is implementing these rules and invites all those involved with Karate in this province to participate regardless of experience. Sessions will provide access to national certification and be practical and interactive. Karate Manitoba is committed to providing the highest quality and continues to bring in national and internationally accredited NCCP instructors.
