  • Karate Canada is the only legitimately recognized, supported and funded organization by the Canadian government, via Heritage Canada / Sport Canada. All Provincial and Territorial Karate Associations are recognized by their respective provincial/territorial governments.

  • Karate Manitoba is the only government organization authorized to sanction Karate competitions in the Province of Manitoba.

  • Karate Manitoba is the official Provincial affiliate of the sport’s National Sport Organization - Karate Canada, and follows the rules and polices of Karate Canada.

  • Karate Canada is a proud member of the Canadian Olympic Committee, the World Karate Federation, the Pan American Karate Federation and the Commonwealth Karate Federation.

If you are planning on attending or participating in an upcoming competition as a competitor, coach or official, make sure it is a legally sanctioned event. If your event is not sanctioned by Karate Manitoba, it is not legal in Manitoba!
