Attention Karate Manitoba Members

RE: June 2, 2007 Nationals and Team Training

The following team training dates, times and locations are to be announced.

Due to the notice athletes who are out of town are not expected to attend. Wesman and Northern Regions are conducting their own team training.

Categories provided in the Tournament Package previously sent to all dojo instructors include:

·         Kyu Division 5^th Kyu to 1^st Kyu (purple/brown belts). No limit in the number of participants.

·         Adult (18 years and older on day of event; and youth (14 to 17 years).  However, if a competitor qualifies in the junior categories by becomes 18 years of age 60 days prior to this event, that competitor may still compete as a junior.

There will be a follow-up list of names based on the results of the 2007 Provincials. All Kyu grades and black belts 14 to 17 and adults who medaled do qualify for the Nationals, although if you have an athlete(s) whose name you would like to forward to Donald McKenzie these will be accepted for consideration in the qualifiers listing.
