The Board extends its thanks to these dedicated Karate Manitoba Board members, who have for many years, lead and given tremendous support to our organization. We are pleased to announce that both Mr. Piche and Mr. Porath will stay on with Karate Manitoba as Committee members.

Karate Manitoba is the Provincial Sport Organization for karate recognized by Sport Manitoba. We create opportunities for growth, sharing of knowledge and support in the development of members, athletes, coaches and officials across the province from the grassroots to the competitive level, all within an open, inclusive, all-style karate organization. Working closely with our membership, we are building a thriving organization and solidifying Manitoba’s presence in the national karate arena.

Upon the meeting of the new Board of Directors following the AGM, the board is pleased to announce the following:

To provide increased access of participation to all clubs, Karate Manitoba is pleased to announce that KM 2012-13 membership fees have been reduced, effective October 1st, 2012. The new fee structure will be reflected on the KM membership form as follows: Youth (12 and under) – $15, Adult kyus (13+) $25, and Black Belts ($35).

We look forward to an exciting year of growth in Karate here in Manitoba.

Karate Manitoba has ceased events & will not be sanctioning any tournaments until deemed safe.

We are asking all clubs to discontinue classes until advised that it is safe to return to activities by the Province’s health officials. Thank you for understanding. #karatemanitoba https://t.co/biyuqEfsCk
