Roene Nasr earns a Silver Medal for Manitoba at the 2016 National Championships!

Karate Manitoba’s Roene Nasr pulled in a Silver medal at the 2016 Karate Canada National Championships at the Richmond Olympic Oval in the women’s youth division. Roene won 6 matches to beat the best female youth division competitors in the country. It was a thrilling feat to watch and we are proud of our up and coming Provincial team led by this gifted athlete. This is Manitoba’s best ever finish in Kumite at Nationals, with our High Performance program in full gear.

Congratulations to Roene and Coach Mendoza for this outstanding accomplishment!
